The last survivor of a dead universe crash-lands outside Green Hill, and finds a kidnapping, a blue blur on his tail, and a world with the same darkness as the one he lost.
Jack's world ended in green light. Four hundred and twenty-eight years old, the last engineer of Plutoria, he escaped in a time capsule he built in his own garage. Then he drifted, with nowhere left to go, until a signal playing jazz seized the capsule and threw him down outside Green Hill.
It's a world still breathing. A summer market. A woman whose husband has been taken. And a blue blur that won't stop following him.
Sonic doesn't trust strangers who fall out of the sky. Jack isn't sure he can care about anything again. But someone is building something in the dark, and Jack has already seen what the end of a world looks like.
The saga isn't the only thing being written.
